Orchard fruit and lemon zest meet sea air and gentle bonfire smoke, capturing Ardnamurchan’s coastal character from the outset. Peach and cherry add a juicy sweetness, while milk chocolate, vanilla and malt bring a softer contrast to the peat. Mint and nutmeg appear towards the close, leaving citrus, subtle smoke and a touch of salinity in a lively Highland malt.

Drink | Historical CAGR: approximately −8% | Market outlook: Weak

Ardnamurchan AD/10.21:06 was released in late 2021 with 21,000 bottles, combining equal parts peated and unpeated spirit matured across bourbon and sherry casks. There is enough auction history here to see the direction clearly. It achieved £37.50 at Whisky Hammer in January 2022, £30 at Just Whisky later that year, £40 in May 2025, £35 in October 2025 and just £25 in January 2026. Comparing the £37.50 early result with £25 in 2026 gives an indicative CAGR of roughly −8%, a total decline of about 33%. With 21,000 bottles produced and European retail still available from around €49, scarcity has not developed. Our view: an interesting early Ardnamurchan to experience, but the auction evidence strongly favours drinking rather than investing.
