Linkwood 2008 11 Year Old Adelphi is a single cask release distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2020 from first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead Cask 308006, producing only 294 bottles. The combination of Linkwood spirit, full sherry maturation and Adelphi's small batch approach gives it solid enthusiast appeal, while the original release has now largely disappeared from retail. I checked specifically for this exact cask across auction archives rather than using prices from other Adelphi Linkwoods, but there are not two sufficiently reliable achieved prices to calculate a meaningful CAGR. Our view: the fundamentals justify keeping it sealed, particularly given the sub 300 bottle outturn, but the lack of an established secondary market makes this a niche long term collectible rather than a proven appreciating asset.
