A riot of fruit and confectionery, this Linkwood bursts with strawberry, mango and apricot alongside candyfloss and salted caramel. Raspberry, banana and juicy pear follow, brightened by grapefruit before coconut and pineapple lend a tropical flourish. Toasted cereals and nuts provide a welcome contrast to all that sweetness, with the final impression shifting between exotic fruit, creamy confectionery and gentle nuttiness.

Limitless Scrumptiousness is SMWS 39.218, a 13 Year Old Linkwood distilled on 5 December 2007 and matured in a first fill ex bourbon barrel, with only 203 bottles produced. I checked the auction trail specifically for this cask. Whisky Auctioneer confirms that it resurfaced as recently as its August 2026 auction, but the achieved hammer price is not publicly visible without an account, and I could not find a second reliable public hammer price elsewhere to calculate a genuine CAGR. Whiskybase currently shows a €109 marketplace listing, but that is an asking price rather than a completed sale. Our view: Linkwood has good enthusiast credentials and only 203 bottles exist, but there is not yet evidence of collectors driving this particular cask upward. We would drink it rather than hold it purely for investment.
