Deep sherry character comes through immediately, with raisins, dark cherries and stewed plum joined by treacle and orange peel. Espresso, bitter chocolate and roasted walnuts introduce a darker edge, while leather and old oak bring maturity and structure. The finish carries cocoa, dried fruit and aromatic spice, giving this single cask Edradour a powerful, traditional Highland character.

Edradour 1993 Natural Cask Strength is Cask 296, distilled on 11 August 1993 and bottled on 9 May 2007 after 13 years, with 624 bottles produced in the distinctive Ibisco decanter. This one has genuine recent auction evidence: Whisky Hammer sold the exact cask for £110 in October 2021 and £130 in November 2025. That represents an increase of around 18% and an indicative CAGR of approximately +4.2%. There is currently no tracked retail stock on Whiskybase. Our view: the growth is modest rather than spectacular, but 1993 vintage, single cask provenance, an older distillery bottling and disappearing supply make this worth keeping sealed.
