Ardnamurchan AD/07.21:05 is Batch 5 of the distillery’s early single malt releases, bottled in 2021 with 19,998 bottles produced. It combines equal parts peated and unpeated spirit matured across 65% bourbon and 35% sherry casks. There is now a useful auction trail: £37.50 in May 2022, £27.10 in November 2022, £32.50 in March 2023, £35 in July 2023, £30 in November 2024 and £35 in March 2026. Most recently, a Whisky Auctioneer sale closed at just £24 in September 2026. Using the May 2022 and September 2026 results gives an indicative CAGR of roughly −10%. Our view: although it belongs to Ardnamurchan’s formative years, the large outturn and persistent weakness at auction make this a bottle to drink rather than preserve for investment.
