Details

This Blair Athol is a beautifully expressive sherried Highland single malt, offering rich layers of dried fruits, dark chocolate and sweet baking spices. Notes of black cherries, figs and toasted hazelnuts are balanced by hints of orange zest and polished oak, creating a palate that's both luxurious and remarkably well rounded. The finish is long and warming, leaving behind lingering cocoa, gentle pepper and a touch of leather. A superb independent bottling that showcases Blair Athol's rich, full bodied character at its very best.

Invest | Historical CAGR: Limited data | Market outlook: Speculative

Only 360 bottles of this 2006 Blair Athol were drawn from a single Oloroso sherry hogshead for Adelphi’s Skibo’s Malt release. Unlike more frequently traded Blair Athol bottlings, Cask 2650 rarely appears at auction, making its market value difficult to track but its scarcity very real. There is not enough reliable sales history to calculate a meaningful CAGR, and that uncertainty is part of the appeal. Our view: this is not a proven investment, but with tiny supply, an Adelphi pedigree and very few bottles resurfacing, we would be reluctant to open one while its collector story is still developing.
