Ripe peach and apricot mingle with honey, creamy vanilla and sweet malt, showcasing the softer side of Edradour. Caramel develops across the palate, brightened by a touch of citrus before pepper and spicy oak provide a firmer contrast. The finish becomes pleasantly dry, carrying vanilla, mature fruit and woody spice in a characterful Highland malt shaped entirely by bourbon casks.

Drink | Historical CAGR: Not established | Market outlook: Limited

Edradour 2013 11 Year Old Ibisco Decanter is a 2024 distillery release drawn from ten bourbon casks, numbers 413 to 424, with 1,997 bottles produced. It originally retailed around £65 to £82 in the UK and has subsequently sold out at several specialist retailers, including The Whisky Exchange and Whisky Online. However, this is still a very young release and I could not find enough completed auction transactions for this exact 2024 batch to calculate a genuine CAGR. An outturn of almost 2,000 bottles also makes it considerably less scarce than Edradour's individual single cask releases. Our view: the Ibisco presentation gives it some collector appeal, but there is not yet evidence of secondary market appreciation. For now, we would drink it rather than hold it specifically as an investment.
