Laudale 12 Year Old Batch 6 is a rich, sherry led Speyside single malt with an impressive depth of flavour. Waves of dried figs, raisins and dark plums are complemented by golden syrup, candied orange and warming baking spices, while hints of salted caramel and polished oak add a luxurious finish. Full bodied and beautifully rounded, it delivers the bold, indulgent character that has become a hallmark of Adelphi's highly regarded Laudale series.

Laudale Batch 6 is a 12 Year Old Dailuaine released by Adelphi in 2023, with only 2,100 bottles produced from heavily sherried first fill casks. That sounds promising for collectors, but scarcity has yet to translate into price pressure. UK retail remains around £62 to £85, with stock still appearing several years after release, while auction appearances are relatively infrequent and have not established a convincing upward trend. Our view: 2,100 bottles is limited, but not every limited release becomes collectible. Unless the Laudale series develops a stronger following, the appeal here remains firmly in the whisky rather than its prospective return.
