Miltonduff 2008 12 Year Old was bottled in 2020 exclusively for Cadenhead’s Whisky & More Baden as part of the Cadenhead’s Shops collection. It was finished in an Oloroso sherry hogshead from September 2019, with only 318 bottles produced. This one has useful auction evidence: it sold for £36.60 in April 2022, £60 in January 2024 and £38.10 in May 2024. Comparing the first and latest verified sales gives an indicative CAGR of only around +1%, with the £60 result looking more like volatility than sustained appreciation. More importantly, bottles remain available today for €84.70, so scarcity has not developed despite the 318 bottle outturn. Our view: the Baden exclusive provenance is interesting, but the secondary market shows little collector momentum. This is one to drink.
