Details

Soft, fruity and pleasantly old fashioned, this Royal Brackla brings together ripe orchard fruit, honey and sweet malt with vanilla, gentle citrus and a touch of nuttiness. Subtle floral notes give it an elegant lift, while pepper, dry oak and delicate spice add structure as it develops. Smooth and understated, it finishes with lingering malt, soft fruit and warming spice, offering a charming glimpse of Royal Brackla’s lighter, more traditional Highland character.

Invest | Historical CAGR: approximately +5% | Market outlook: Positive

Royal Brackla 10 Year Old Flora & Fauna is one of the discontinued releases from the original series, produced during the 1990s before Royal Brackla returned as an official distillery bottling. Unlike the current Flora & Fauna expressions, its supply has been fixed for decades. Historical auction results show standard examples moving from roughly £70 to £90 during the mid 2010s into the £120 to £160 range more recently, with particularly desirable presentations achieving more. That implies an indicative long term CAGR of around +5%, although condition and packaging can materially affect individual results. Our view: the combination of discontinued status, early Flora & Fauna provenance and steadily diminishing supply makes this worth keeping sealed. It is not a high growth bottle, but it has considerably stronger collector fundamentals than the Flora & Fauna releases still in production.
