SMWS "Dreamsicle-creamsicle" is a vibrant Speyside single malt bursting with tropical fruit and creamy sweetness. Dreamsicle Creamsicle is SMWS 63.87, a 19 Year Old Glentauchers released in 2021 with just 196 bottles from a single first fill bourbon barrel. Unlike many SMWS releases we have looked at, there is some evidence of upward movement: one bottle achieved £71.20 in 2022 and another £82.15 in 2023, equivalent to roughly 7% annual growth between those sales. It is now sold out at SMWS with no current Whiskybase retailer listings, while its 87 point enthusiast rating adds credibility to the liquid itself. Our view: the market history is still thin, but a 19 year age statement, fewer than 200 bottles and early positive price movement make this one worth keeping sealed.
