Emotion Provoking and Mind Blowing is SMWS 94.19, a 12 Year Old Fettercairn distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021 from a second fill ex bourbon barrel, with only 230 bottles produced. It originally sold for £53.40 and has now disappeared from normal retail, with Whiskybase and Peated showing no current sellers. However, we could not find enough verified auction transactions to establish a credible price trend or CAGR. The combination of a tiny outturn and Fettercairn provenance gives it some long term curiosity, but there is currently little evidence of collectors competing for this particular cask. Our view: scarce, certainly, but not yet demonstrably collectible, making drinking the stronger case.
