This is not a conventional Springbank 10. Distilled in 2014, matured for a decade in a fresh Port Pipe and bottled in 2024, it was a Duty Paid Sample intended for trade purposes and sold through Springbank’s famously elusive distillery stock. Auction activity is already remarkably consistent, with verified results around £116 to £140 and several 2026 sales settling at £130. There is not enough history yet for a meaningful CAGR, but the fundamentals are compelling: single cask provenance, unusual Port maturation, extremely restricted availability and the enduring collector demand surrounding Springbank. Our view: the market is still establishing what this bottle is worth, but this is exactly the kind of unusual Springbank release we would be reluctant to open.
