Crisp and characterful, this Teaninich begins with fresh orange and lemon, softened by violets and delicate clover flowers. Light cereal notes give way to an intriguing touch of beeswax, while gentle acidity and a subtle pinch of salt lend the palate a clean, appetising quality. It closes long and dry, with citrus, malt and waxy nuances showcasing the distinctive style of this rarely seen Highland malt.

Drink | Historical CAGR: approximately −8% | Market outlook: Weak

Teaninich 10 Year Old Flora & Fauna has a surprisingly long auction history, but the standard presentation has moved in the wrong direction. Whisky Online Auctions recorded standard bottles at £100 and £105 in February 2014, while more recent comparable sales include £55 in March 2024, £40 in May 2025, £45 in September 2025 and just £35 in July 2026. Using £100 in 2014 against £35 in 2026 produces an indicative CAGR of roughly −8%, a total decline of around 65%. Our view: the standard bottle is clearly one to drink. The important exception is the first edition white cap in its wooden box, which is a different collector proposition and achieved £170 in 2024.
